AWS Certified Developer – Associate (DVA-C01) Certifications

People playing the developer position should take the AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA-C01) exam. The exam certifies a candidate's competence in the following areas:

• Show that you are familiar with the fundamental principles of AWS architecture, including its usage and essential services.
• Develop, build, and debug cloud-based apps with AWS to demonstrate your expertise.

The target candidate should have 1 or more years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining an AWS-based application. The target candidate should have the following:

• • In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language 
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management 
  • The ability to write code for server less applications

• Understanding of the use of containers in the development process

Exam Format:

The associate level certification exam contains 65 questions in multiple-choice format with 130 minutes time duration. Moreover, the AWS Associate Developer exam costs $150. You can take this exam through Pearson VUE, the PSI testing center, or an online platform. However, this certification is available in different languages such as English, French, German, Italian, Korean, and many others. However, you need to score at least 720 out of 1000 to pass this certification exam.

Who should take this exam?

AWS Certified Developer - Associate is a great starting point on the AWS Certification path for individuals who may have any of the following:

• Experience working in a developer role with in-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
• Experience in AWS technology
• Strong on-premises IT experience and understanding of mapping on-premises to cloud
• Experience working in other cloud services
